Luxor: The World’s Greatest Open-Air Museum
Luxor is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Egypt and for good reason. It is home to some of the most impressive ancient temples and monuments in the world, including the Valley of the Kings, Hutchpsut funeral temple, Karnak temples, and Luxor Temple.
This 2-day tour takes you to see the most famous landmarks in Luxor, as well as some hidden gems that most tourists miss. You will also experience a hot air balloon ride over the city, which is a truly unforgettable way to see Luxor from a different perspective.

• We pick you up with our comfortable air-conditioned vehicles to the hotel to check in, and meet our guide to start our trip to the East Bank • You will start by visiting the Karnak temple that was believed to be the spot where creation began. It was also believed it was a point of interaction between the God Amun-Ra and Egyptians. It is important to Egypt's cultural history because it was a place of worship and provides clues about the ancient Egyptian religion. (Duration: 2 hours) • Then you will head to the Temple of Luxor that is one of the best-preserved of all the ancient monuments containing large amounts of structure, statuary and relief carvings that are still intact to this day, making it one of the most impressive places to visit in the Luxor area and all of Egypt. (Duration 1 hour) • Go back to the Hotel to rest and have lunch.
• Our driver will be waiting for you early in the morning to accompany you to the Hot air Balloon tour. The crew will explain some safety measures before you climb up to one of the most remarkable experiences at Luxor and take the photos that will fill your Instagram. (Duration 45 to 1 hour) • Then you will head to the Valley of the kings that is famous for its royal tombs. These beautifully painted tombs have been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. For over thousands of years, the kings, queens and nobles of the New Kingdom (1500-1070 B.C.) were buried in this valley, which is considered the world's most magnificent burial ground. (Duration: 2 hours) • You will then go to the Temple of Hatshepsut that is an ancient example of pure visual architecture and there is simply nothing that can match the beauty and elegance of the Hatshepsut temple. It can reach the highest level of perfection and is one of Egypt’s incomparable monuments. (Duration: 1 hour) • Our final sites will be the famous Colossi of Memnon, and the great Temple of Habu (Duration: 1 hour) • Then you will finish this unique afternoon by visiting the Alabaster factory, our second complimentary trip, and shop for the most memorable souvenirs that your family and friend back home will really appreciate. (Duration: 30 minutes) • Head back to the hotel
